Is money the root of all evil?

I dont think money alone is the root of all evil. Lot to do with greed. Money has become a term which dictates the power of that greed. I remember a wonderful story written by Leo Tolstoy quotHow much land does a man need ?quot. Its a story about a poor peasant who comes to know that there is some land available at cheap rates, so he buys that. It is rich fertile soil and he makes loads of money from that place. But he is never satisfied. So he buys more land from other place which were more cheaper. Than one day he comes to know of a place where he could get as much as he wanted if he started in the morning and returned to the starting pt before sun dusk. The land covered by him would be his. The only condition was to cover the land by feet and not by any vehicles. So he kept running, without stopping to eat, without stopping to drink and after a covering large amount of land he returned back. He was short on time so started running even faster, slowly the sun reached its setting time. Now the man almost made, at the point where he started, he reached there but he died on reaching the point. The people who were to give him the land, dug a foot deep hole and buried him. So whats the moral of the story. brA man needs a land enough to get buried. So do not be greedy. Try to earn what your bare necessities are and you will be happy and content. Otherwise you may accumulate large amounts of money, but never able to live it.
